and what a happy friday it is :)
list this under reason 79 why i love my office.
i'm pretty sure i have mentioned that i participate in my company's events committee. well i literally just got back from our monthly meeting and i had to share with you the fun we just had.
- lunch from the one and only Chick Fil A
- cupcakes from Georgetown cupcake
- white elephant gift exchange
next... the cupcakes. those of you in dc, you know how crazy people get about their cupcakes (and their frozen yogurt). Georgetown cupcake is hailed by many as "the best". they are good, but to be honest my mom's are the shit and nothing else is better.
now it's time for my shout out to the hot mama who organizes all of the meetings and keeps us in check. she ordered me special hanukkah cupcakes :)
(red velvet --- i am going to devour this come 3 o'clock... i already ate a chocolate peppermint one that i wish never ended)
the gift exchange was pretty funny. it included some starbucks gifts, a "personal" trimmer (for men), a santa's cookie plate, beer mugs, and the gift i walked away with was a Godiva coffee set. not the best and not the worst, so i'm ok with it.

Glad to hear you had a good time... Not bad of a gift, could have been worse...(like a back massager that looked distinctfully like something else!! Bwahahaha! )

and you don't have to justify your chick fil a obsession... we only have 1 in michigan, it was at my college, and ohhh man is it awesome. i wish we had them on every corner. actually, that would probably be horrible but still.
Soul Sister of Cravings, I had DREAMS about Chick Fil A last night.
Our White Elephant SUCKED. Like, a lot. My final gift was a hideous pashmina & a bag of BBQ chips. Seriouslyyyy.
